UBE MATCHA — sweet potato for drinks and desserts.

Made with freeze-dried sweet potato and 2% maltodextrin, this powder is easy to add to homemade drinks, breakfasts and desserts. Pair it with coconut, vanilla, banana or smooth cashew butter.

How to use:

• Latte: mix the powder with a little warm water until smooth, add warm oat or coconut drink and whisk. Sweeten to taste.
• Smoothies: blend with banana, plant-based milk and a spoonful of cashew butter; adjust the liquid for your preferred thickness.
• Porridge: stir the pre-mixed powder into cooked oat or rice porridge. Top with shredded coconut, berries or nuts.
• Creams and fillings: first blend with a little of the liquid from your recipe, then gradually incorporate into the cream. Try a coconut base with vanilla.
• Pancakes, waffles and muffins: use in recipes designed for sweet potato powder, mixing it with the dry ingredients. Do not substitute freely for flour.
• Puddings and frozen desserts: mix into the liquid base before adding chia seeds or freezing. Serve with mango or banana.

Start with a small amount, check the flavour and thickness, and add more gradually. The finished colour depends on the amount of powder and the other ingredients.
